Just a few reminders and tips you can use to help make Cranbrook a crime free community.

  Remember to update your alarm company's call list with updated phone numbers, and make sure they have the correct number to call when your alarm goes off. 

  When parking your vehicle in the street please make sure it is facing the right direction, and do not block a fire hydrant.  Remember you cannot park within 15 feet of an intersection or fire hydrant.  This is a Class C Violation.

  Report all suspicious vehicles and persons in the subdivision to the Pct.# 4 dispatcher. (please get a description of suspects,  license plate numbers, etc.)

  If you are not outside, keep your garage door down.

  Make sure that your alarm company has the right phone number to call when your alarm goes off. (This will increase response time to your house).

  Good lighting around your house at night will detour crime. (motion sensor lights)

  If you see something that just doesn't look right, do not hesitate to call police (you might be preventing a crime).

  If you have any questions, or information that you think I need to know about please call and share it with me or contact a board member, it might be the key to solving a crime.

  Remember to remove valuables from your vehicle before it is parked.  If you must leave valuables in your vehicle, please make sure they locked in the trunk.  Always remember to lock your vehicle even it if is parked in front of your home, in your driveway, or in your garage. 

  Remember to report all suspicious vehicles and persons walking the streets in Cranbrook during day and the nighttime hours to the 24 hour dispatch at 281-376-3472.

  Keep in mind that there is a curfew for juveniles 16 years and younger.  Deputies can pick up and/or ticket curfew violators.  The curfew is midnight to 6 o’clock in the morning.  If you see anyone out during this time and they look like they may be a juvenile, call our dispatch and a Deputy will check it out.

  SPEEDING - Just a reminder that the speed limit in Cranbrook is 30 mph.

  Remember you are the eyes and ears to keeping crime out of Cranbrook.
